THE REGISTER

ANNULLED is a register of struck out names. Each entry is a name or a word, drawn in code and then crossed out: a single line pulled through a scene rendered for that entry and never rendered again. The subjects are the long dead, the mythic and the never living. Nobody in the register died later than 1950.

Every entry is built from 21 traits — the scene behind the name, the palette, the hour and the weather, the typeface, the ink, the shape of the strike itself. The art is generative and the render is one shot: the same entry cannot be drawn twice.
